Watch for Noah's Garden in the News

The next issue of the KIB newsletter will feature The Central Elementary students' Noah's Garden. The school won one of KIB’s Yo-Ho Tools Grants last year.  Fourteen classroom teachers use KIB’s Clean and Green to involve 325 students, and their families in the project. During the spring and fall each classroom plans, plants, tends and harvests their designated garden bed, then uses and/or donates the produce raised in the garden. Kids learn math, language, science and other academics in the garden through TGG lessons.

They've done such a great job of serving their community, they have their own page on Teachers Going Green; you can get one too. Just contact Martha McCormick to find out how.
