Richard Louv in Iowa Dec. 4

Trees Forever is hosting "Our Woodland Legacy Symposium" Wednesday December 4, 2013 at the Doubletree Hotel in Cedar Rapids. "Green & Blue: A Natural Connection" will begin at 8:30 and conclude after a reception at 5 pm.

Richard Louv is their keynote speaker; he is the author of the international bestseller Last Child in the Woods, and coined the concept of nature deficit disorder. His second book, The Nature Principle offers solutions such as a daily dose of "Vitamin N"--Nature!

The principles of his research are an underpinning of Teachers Going Green.

The fee for this important symposium is just $50/75 (member/non-member). Some scholarships are available. Find more information at Trees Forever.
